Entegrix UAE is the data controller responsible for your personal data. We are a financial and corporate services firm registered in the UAE, providing accounting, tax, audit, payroll, AML compliance, transfer pricing, company registration, and financial advisory services.

From prospective and existing clients
- Full name, job title, and company name
- Contact details — email address, phone number, WhatsApp number, business address
- Identity documents — passport copies, Emirates ID, visa information (required for KYC and AML compliance)
- Financial information — bank account details, financial statements, tax records, payroll data
- Business information — trade licence, company structure, shareholder information

From website visitors

3. Why We Collect Your Data and Our Legal Basis
We collect and process personal data only where we have a valid legal basis to do so under the UAE PDPL:
Contract performance
To deliver the services you have engaged us for accounting, tax, audit, payroll, company registration, and other services as agreed.

To comply with UAE legal requirements including FTA regulations, AML/CFT obligations, MOHRE requirements, and any mandatory reporting duties.
Legitimate interests
To respond to enquiries, manage our client relationships, improve our services, and maintain the security of our systems.
Consent
For marketing communications where you have opted in. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
4. How We Use Your Data
- Providing and managing the professional services you have engaged us to deliver
- Communicating with you about your engagement, invoices, and service updates
- Conducting identity verification and KYC checks as required by UAE AML law
- Filing tax returns, payroll submissions, and regulatory filings on your behalf
- Meeting our legal and regulatory obligations — including goAML reporting where required
- Sending service-related communications and, where consent is given, marketing updates
- Maintaining accurate internal records and improving the quality of our services
- Responding to legal or regulatory requests from UAE authorities
5. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data only in the following circumstances:
- UAE government authorities — including the FTA, MOHRE, FIU, and free zone authorities — where required by law or as part of the services we provide on your behalf
- Professional advisors — legal counsel, insurance providers, or auditors engaged by Entegrix UAE, bound by confidentiality obligations
- Technology and software providers — such as Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or other cloud platforms used to deliver our services, under appropriate data processing agreements
- Group entities — where Entegrix UAE operates as part of a wider group, internal sharing may occur for administrative and service delivery purposes
Any third parties with whom we share data are required to handle it securely and only for the purposes for which it was shared.
6. International Data Transfers
Some of the technology platforms we use — including cloud accounting software — may store or process data on servers outside the UAE. Where this occurs, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with the UAE PDPL requirements for cross-border data transfers.
7. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, and in accordance with UAE legal retention requirements:
- Client accounting and financial records — minimum 5 years as required by UAE Commercial Transactions Law
- Tax records and FTA filings — minimum 5 years from the end of the relevant tax period
- AML and KYC records — minimum 5 years from the end of the business relationship, as required by UAE AML law
- General correspondence and enquiry data — up to 3 years from last contact
- Website analytics data — up to 12 months
After these periods, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
8. Your Rights Under the UAE PDPL
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- Right to access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to correction — you may request that inaccurate or incomplete data is corrected
- Right to erasure — you may request deletion of your data where we no longer have a legal basis to retain it
- Right to restriction — you may request that we limit the processing of your data in certain circumstances
- Right to data portability — you may request your data in a structured, commonly used format
- Right to object — you may object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing
- Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time

11. AML Reporting Obligations
As a DNFBP under UAE AML law, Entegrix UAE has a legal obligation to report suspicious transactions or activities to the UAE Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) via the goAML platform. Such reports are made without prior notification to the client and are required by law. This does not constitute a breach of confidentiality or data protection obligations.
12. Children’s Data
Our services are directed at businesses and adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
